Artifical Intelligence: The Future of Dementia Care
November 15, 2024 - Symposium for clinicians, trainees and the community at large, including assisted living facilities. Moderated by Christopher Christodoulou, PhD, of the Stony Brook Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease. Explores the use of artificial intelligence and its integration into dementia care. Includes examples of robots in action and the many different ways they can assist in dementia care therapy — from providing simple companionship to giving exercise instructions. Also delves into future research opportunities to support clinical decision making for individuals affects with Alzheimer’s disease.
